 Potato residue, including sweet potato residue, cassava residue, and potato residue, is a major byproduct of starch processing and potato food production. Fresh, wet potato residue typically has a moisture content exceeding 80%, characterized by high humidity, high viscosity, easy clumping, and easy spoilage. Untreated wet potato residue is prone to fermentation and spoilage when piled up, producing unpleasant odors and polluting the factory environment. Furthermore, its loose volume leads to significant transportation losses and extremely low utilization value; direct disposal not only wastes resources but also incurs environmental treatment costs. Jiutian's dryer uses a proprietary low-temperature, uniform drying process tailored to the material characteristics of potato residue, eliminating drying defects. The production process is standardized and automated: The first step involves pre-dehydrating the wet potato residue using a mechanical filter press, removing surface moisture and reducing the moisture content to approximately 60%, breaking up any clumps to lay the foundation for deep drying. The second step uses a closed conveyor system to feed the pre-treated residue into a rotary drum dryer. The equipment has a built-in customized material-breaking and lifting device that continuously breaks up any sticky residue, ensuring the material is evenly dispersed inside the drum and fully exposed to the high-temperature hot air. The equipment employs segmented temperature control technology: the preheating section rapidly evaporates surface moisture to prevent crusting, the constant temperature section deeply removes internal moisture, and the cooling section balances the material's humidity. The entire drying process is uniform, without any sticking or uneven drying, ultimately precisely controlling the moisture content of the potato residue to below 12%.

The dried potato residue is loose, dry, clean, and resistant to moisture and mold, completely solving the problems of difficult storage, transportation, and contamination associated with wet potato residue. Potato residue itself is rich in starch, dietary fiber, and various trace elements, making it versatile and cost-effective after drying. It can be used as a high-quality feed ingredient for livestock, poultry, and aquaculture, with good palatability and sufficient nutrition; it can also be further processed into organic fertilizer to improve soil quality; and it can also be used as biomass fuel to achieve clean energy reuse.
